Southside Sporting Club: A Premier Venue for Fun and Flavor in Stafford, TX

2024 Superbowl Girls Trip From Los Angeles I normally do not do reviews, but I was so impressed with the service received from Tanya, (Mgr.) and Maya, (Server) I just had to take a few minutes to write a review to compliment these two ladies. Prior to arriving to Texas, I had been in touch with a different sports bar, in 3rd Ward, that I will not mention. However, this location needs an efficient communication process when reserving tables via text for an event as big as Super Bowl. So I decided to go to Southside Sports Bar to secure a table. Tanya, (Mgr)met my 4 friends and I at the door and went above and beyond to help us find the perfect table for our group of five. She took the time to explain the atmosphere inside versus outside and stated "whatever you ladies want, we can make it happen". She even invited us to come early super-bowl, Sunday to enjoy the swing dancing with live Zydeco band. Tanya, also mentioned that we would be her guest from Los Angeles and let security know when we arrive at the door. Sunday, when we arrived, we were assigned a server for the day. Her name was Maya. Maya had a beautiful smile and an out going personality throughout the day. Even when the restaurant was at capacity, she remained very professional, and continue to come back and check on our table. She kept us informed when our food would arrive to the table and recommended best drinks and foodie favorites, which were all great choices. Maya, knows how to interact and relate with customers of all walks of life. Maya exceeded our expectations, she had been on her feet working non stop from the time we arrived at 1pm to 9pm, the time we left. She never lost her composure, remained professional, even when the bill got a little confusing she continued to smile, answer all our questions with a positive attitude and demonstrated excellence in customer service by her willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our experience was pleasant. Maya, you truly added the cherry on top to our super-bowl girls trip and we really appreciate you. Keep Up The Good Work!!

So....we arrived and were seated. Then moved because it was reserved for 4p. Placed my order for brunch but waitress came back...."chef said no". Brunch ends at 3p but they cut off at 2:45p. It was 2:43p when I placed my order and would have had more time if our seating wasn't changed. She said she'd "ask the chef again"....yes!...got the fish and grits. Then the frozen drink I wanted...they didn't have. The waitress suggested the southside rita and brought a sample. I was like yes, this is good. She came back "the machine is frozen"...so NO FROZEN DRINKS! The fish and grits saved the day because it was really good. Overall 3 out of 5....worth going back in hopes the next visit is better!

Went here on a Sunday around 4pm. The service was great, but it did take a while for our bottle to come out. They also didn’t have our first choice for bottle service but everyone was really nice. We preferred outdoor seating because the ambiance was definitely better out on the patio. It was a beautiful day and the patio was definitely lit, so if you make a reservation…make sure to get the patio. The inside was cool, very much laid back though, like a traditional restaurant. For food, I had the wings with Southside sauce, chef’s kiss. It was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy! The server recommended this pineapple freeze drink and it was soooo good and beautiful. I had to get a pic of it, I was too hungry to get a pic of my food. Lol overall, I would definitely return. @MissMo2323

The vibe here is EVERYTHING! Today was our first time there. We were greeted by Tonya and she gave us a tour before seating us. She was very nice and informative! Our hostess was Varsha and she was amazing! She was very down to earth and informative about the drinks and the menu. The food and drinks were amazing. We jammed and sung the whole time. We definitely recommend this place as a go to!

The place it’s huge and kind of quiet. I was there Monday for dinner and was not packed at all. They have a stage and looks like weekends are better to go there if you are looking for a more crowded experience. Great cocktails, seafood, and brisket nachos. The ribs were okay though.

First time there on Monday and we had a great experience. Place is clean, huge and spacious, great for groups. Our beautiful waitress Alondra was so attentive, friendly and professional, gave out great suggestions . We had the 5lbs for $25 crawfish deal and the crawfish was so good and the sizes were big! Everything we ordered was very tasty. They also had very good HH prices for drinks. Overall great vibe and we will definitely come back to try more stuff on the menu.

I was extremely iffy of this place based on the reviews but I can honestly say I enjoyed my experience. We sat outside, there were 2 servers for the outside area so no, they can’t check on you every single second you’re there but they get the job done. Our whole table ordered crawfish (5lbs for $25) and snow crabs, they came out in a decent amount of time.( Flavor was more so in the sauce than actual crawfish). One person ordered nachos and wings and they also came out in a timely fashion. Only thing is they have no drink specials on Sundays and shots are $15 ! Frozen drinks come in small cups and aren’t very strong so pregame before coming!
